Students will be invited to audition following a pre-screening process. For Merit Scholarship auditions, invited students will prepare two contrasting solo works from the standard repertoire that demonstrate both technical and lyrical playing. Two to three standard orchestral excerpts are also encouraged. The audition (or if recorded, media links) should total approximately 15 minutes in duration. Live auditions will include sight reading.
Supplemental Recording Requirements
Students may also be invited to submit supplemental recordings as part of their regular application. These may be between 5 and 15 minutes in duration and should be of standard solo repertoire only (no ensemble concert videos). Those invited to audition for merit scholarships are welcome to also submit supplemental recordings as part of their regular application.
