Vocal Studies
Emory's Vocal Studies area includes approximately twenty-five music majors among many other students who are either voice minors or studying voice for credit or non-credit. With five voice teachers in the program, students have ample opportunity to explore the craft of singing, working on technique and artistry as it relates to them individually.
There are many performance opportunities on campus including the opera/musical theatre workshop called StageWorks, master classes with world renown teachers, art song symposia, solo recitals, and voice classes.
The vocal program at Emory is for the student who is moving toward a career in music, or one who simply wishes to sing.
