Children's Music Development Center of Emory


kindermusicTamara Albrecht is a Lecturer in Music History, the Director/Instructor for the Children's Music Development Center at Emory University, and an adjunct Organ Professor. She is also the Organist/Choirmaster at St. Bede's Episcopal Church, Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Albrecht received her degrees of Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education from Wittenberg University and her Master of Music degree from Northwestern University. Ms. Albrecht has played solo and duo organ concerts nationally and internationally.

Ms. Albrecht is licensed as a Kindermusik, Level I Orff, and Musikgarten instructor. For more than twenty-five years, she has worked extensively in music development, directing preschool through adult choirs (bells, Orff ensembles, recorders), and she has taught at the preschool, middle school, and university levels.
